LEGENDS ROGAINING SERIES SEASON RANKINGS PROCEDURE
The rogaining season ranking is established to determine the most skilled and active participants throughout the season, evaluating consistency and performance across multiple events.
1. Ranking Calculation Rules
1.1. The season ranking is calculated by summing the points earned in a specific course across all stages for each team (by name) or individual participant (runner or MTB rider by first and last name), excluding one stage with the lowest result (a missed/skipped stage is also considered a lowest result).
1.2. If multiple teams or individual participants have an equal total point score at the end of the season, a higher rank is awarded to:
- the participant/team with the lower total time spent on the course across all stages;
- if the total time is also equal, the rank is determined by a higher result in the final stage of the season.
1.3. For the purpose of ranking calculations, Family group teams are classified and included in the respective course Men's (V), Women's (S), or Mixed (X) categories.
1.4. The top three teams in the men's, women's, and mixed categories for the 2 h, 4 h, and 6 h distances, as well as the top three individual male and female participants in the 2h Solo rogaining and MTB distances, will be awarded season ranking prizes. Awards are eligible only for participants who have not missed more than one stage during the season.
Separately, the top three teams in the overall (absolute) standings for the 2 h, 4 h, and 6 h distances will be awarded. The top teams in the 6 h distance will receive gift cards from "Intervals.lv" (1st place – 1000 EUR, 2nd place – 750 EUR, 3rd place – 500 EUR), while the top teams in the 4 h distance will receive gift cards from "Impro.lv" (1st place – 1000 EUR, 2nd place – 750 EUR, 3rd place – 500 EUR).
